The Early Bird rates for the Cornwall Hospital
Triathlon end February 28th. Our fee structure
this year is one of the most economical around and
is a huge value considering the various offerings
onsite. Once again, 2010 will have technical
run shirts for the first 500 registrants for both
days. That is a technical shirt for the

Kid's
Day Information
The kid's day is returning to the Aquatic Centre
on the shore of the St. Lawrence River. The
site was very popular in 2009. The swim is
located indoors in the Cornwall Aquatic Centre.

8:00am
- 12&13 start at 8:30am
- 10&11 start at 9:00am
- 7-9 start at 9:30am
- 6 & Under start at 10:00am
- Awards will be presented at 10:30am
- Refreshments are available to participants
after they have completed their event.

Adult
Day Information
The adult event will return to Ecole L'Heritage
for 2010. The site was a huge success and with
some minor tweaks will be even better in 2010. Due
to the potential increase in numbers for the event
in 2010, the Cornwall Hospital Triathlon may have to
close registration to certain events before race day
after capacity has been filled.

The following is a listing of the prizes that are
available to the top finishers in each event.
Top 3 in each age group will be called to receive a placement indicator add-on for the
back of their medal. All finishers get a medal. Top finishing prizes are:
- Olympic Tri - Top 5 M/F - $500, $300, $200,

- Sprint Tri - Top 3 M/F - $200, $100, $50
- Sprint Du - Top 3 M/F - $200, $100, $50

The Pro/Elite Program will be back in 2010.
We are currently firming up sponsorship for the

Your wrote, we are listening. We received
over 100 post-race questionnaires from last year's
events. Some of the recommendations we have in
place for 2010 include better traffic management
around the Nav Canada circle, more direction signs
on the bike course, huge billboards in the
transition area with everything you need to know,
additional washrooms and much more. The
Cornwall Hospital Triathlon committee wishes to
thank you, the participants, for letting us know how
to make your experience better in 2010.
Additionally, the questionnaire's were glowing on
some aspects of the race we plan to continue with in
2010. Items sticking around are wetsuit
stripping, a great post-race food selection
(bagel=blah), and well stocked aid stations
accessible at every km during the run.

The Cornwall Hospital Triathlon will allow race
transfers between individuals for a fee of $10.
The latest date for a race transfer is Tuesday August
17th. Race transfers can be done within the
same race only. Email the
racedirector@cornwalltriathlon.com for more
information.
